Knowledge Base Discord Bot

Got product docs, API references, or internal wikis? Talon indexes them with vector embeddings, then acts as a chatbot in your Discord server. Users ask questions in natural language, Talon finds the answer from your docs. No training required — just point it at your content.

How it works

Section titled “How it works”
  1. Ingests documentation from files, URLs, or APIs
  2. Chunks and embeds content into a vector store
  3. Listens on a Discord channel via the Discord connector
  4. Incoming questions get embedded and matched against the knowledge base
  5. Talon generates answers grounded in your actual documentation
  6. Cites sources so users can verify

What you need

  • Vector embeddings (MCP or built-in vector store)
  • File or web ingestion for loading documentation
  • Persona configured with domain-specific system prompt
  • net_http host tool (if ingesting from remote URLs)
